Check out Geri's latest newspaper article after lapping the fileld, solo, at the Maryville Criterium this weekend. http://www.blounttoday.com/news/2008/mar/12/no-contest/ This marks Geri's first win of the season, and the first win for the men's elite team. What makes this win great...dispite that fact that Geri is freaky fast, is that after lapping the field by himself, he was able to help lead out former teammate, AJ Meyer, for 2nd place. AJ now rides for the Hincapie / Barkley Development Team. This is AJ's highest placing in a Pro 1-2 event to date, but we expect el numero uno for him anytime. Congrats to Geri and AJ for showing them how it's done. PS...Yes, Geri rocks the pink wool Defeet Gloves all the time!
